Marketing has been key to our success – we advertise locally and nationally via key publications,  this is continuing  part of  our ongoing strategy. We are listed in the Antique Trade Gazette and similar publications.

Looking at the feedback we have received it would appear that many buyers travel long distances to purchase quality goods.

Exhibitor Profile

1947_white_£5The image above is a note from 1947 a  White Five Pounds, K.O.Peppiatt signature. The White Fiver is definitely the most sought after of all British notes. This particular note was a very short run just after the war and is rarely seen in such good condition (graded Good Extremely Fine).

Chris Burch has been a dealer in banknotes for over 15 years:

Just over year ago decided to take my stock ‘on the road’. I specialise in high grade English, Scottish and selected World banknotes and sell at all the major antiques and collectors fairs across the South West and Midlands. I only deal in banknotes, not coins.
I buy regularly from private individuals, either single notes or collections and offer a free valuation service. I can be contacted on 07870 504849 or via email at chrisburchsales@gmail.com.

Antiques Trader - North DevonFellow antiques trader – a personal invitation to trade in North Devon

The feedback we have recently received suggests that our broadening of interest has attracted both additional traders and buyers. With the new flyers headed FIND A BARGAIN we are hoping to develop new markets of people looking for a bargain!

Our regular adverts in Western Morning News, Antiques & Arts section on the Saturday the week prior to the market will continue along with editorial. We also advertise in other local publications including Molton Monthly Magazine and North Devon Journal.

In addition to Antique Explorer we have advertised in Antiques Trade Gazette for specialist advertising.

South Molton pannier market is under cover and allows traders easy access to drive in unload/reload and drive out. There is a large free car park to the rear of the market and the town boasts 4 bank ATM’s with additional facilities at Sainsbury’s.

South Molton attracts a sizeable holiday trade and we are looking to attract visitors to the area via web based advertising particularly through the tourist board.

We are limited by the size of the market to about 50 stands and it will therefore, be necessary to select a range of traders to ensure a balanced market. The quality and integrity of the traders reflects on us and we would ask that you ensure goods are correctly identified. If you are interested in joining us for this physical market we would be most grateful if you would download the booking form and return it to us or submit your interest via the form below.

We look forward to welcoming you to our next market.
